The CELLAR started in 1959 as a coffee house / beatnik joint that came complete with jazz, poetry and folk music.

Somewhere around 1965, Rock and Roll music was introduced, and the Joint was a'rockin.

This was a place where you could express yourself and play whatever you wanted, and as long as it was entertaining, that was all a musician needed.

This was a place wild enough to try new things and create your own style of music.

A lot of great musicians either got their start or worked on their act, until it was ready to be released on the world.

This set of CD's is my attempt at bringing some of the bands back together or putting together bands made up of musicians that played the Cellar during the hey day of the late 60's and early 70's.

Some of these bands are working today, either in clubs or concerts around the world.

All of them share one thing in common.

All were players at the CELLAR.

An Incredible LIVE CD featuring the bands you loved at the Cellar. Ft.Worth continues the tradition of the Cellar Reunion, by way of this stellar CD recorded live on two occasions ( J&J Blues Bar 2009 and the Ridglea Theater 2007) and produced by Jas Stephens and Company. Truly a project with a lot of love to it. This CD features Point Blank , General Boogie, Jack & The Rippers, Nitzinger, LB.Stone, The Dream, Naked Letus, The H Bros. Band, and the Dead Pyrates Society. You loved them then and you will love them now. This CD ROCKS!!! It will take you back to the pillows and beyond!! If you never were there, it is a true reproduction of how hot the music was then and today! The Cellar always was a conglomeration of cover tunes and originals and this CD reflects that as well. Some of the best guitarists are blowing hot for ya here, Bugs Henderson, Buddy Whittington, John Nitzinger and many more... killer piano players, bass players, and drummers ...all playing their hearts out as they did back in the day. You know you love it and now you got it for keeps! Rock on!

YOU MUST BE WEIRD OR YOU WOULDN'T BE HERE
